LessonBuzz Literacy 1-6 app for iPhone and iPad

LessonBuzz Literacy is designed for children 5 to 13 years who are in Primary / Grade School or in Junior High School. There is a separate app for each of the four modules of Language, Comprehension, Writing and Spelling within each of the school year levels or age ranges. Each of the 24 apps incorporates 30 graduated lessons.

The Language, Comprehension, Writing and Spelling modules should be used in combination to develop literacy through reading, listening, phonics, language building, effective writing and tactual activities. The modules may be used at different levels, reflecting a childs functioning level and there is a Guide for Effective Use page to help select the correct starting level. All LessonBuzz apps are cohesive, being written by the one teacher in a high-quality style.

LessonBuzz tracks performance and incorporates customised illustrations and audio together with sound effects to prompt answers as well as to recognise success.

LessonBuzz Language is available across the school years 1-6 and the levels include:

• Focus on punctuation, grammar, similes, opposites, letter writing, story building, combining sentences, paragraphs, literary and non-literary genres, poems, metaphors

LessonBuzz Spelling is available across the school years 1-6 and the levels include:
• 30 graduated lessons at age/school year level, each with up to 600 spelling words
• Focus on phonemic and graphemic word building, letter/sound awareness, common misspellings and word families
